Seville was lucky enough to have been inhabited and built by numerous civilizations and cultures, which made a city full of monuments and historic building that you can not miss. Furthermore, its mild temperature along the year allows locals and visitors to practice many open-air activities. Here you are a list with the best things to do in the capital of Andalusia:
The Metropol Parasol assemble, also known as “las setas” (the mushrooms) by the shape of its structure, began to be built in 2005 in the central plaza de la Encarnación. However, the works had to be cancelled due to they found romans remains during the excavation. The solution was to take advantage and make an underground museum with the remains and preserve the roman legacy. In the basis of the building were built different restaurants and a local market, and in the rooftop they made a lookout with stunning views of the city. Despite the controversy generated by the cost of the work, there is no doubt that this modern building offers an interesting contrast with the traditional environment that surrounds it. It worth the time to visit it to check out the contemporary structure and contemplate the amazing view of the rooftop.

BARRIO SANTA CRUZ
Santa Cruz´s neighborhood was many years ago the home of Jewish refugees, who were pursued by Muslims and Christians. In this singular neighborhood you will find alleyways and numerous plazas with fountains and orange trees that will amaze you. Among its most photogenic spots are plaza San Lorenzo, plaza Elvira, and patio de las banderas, where you will contemplate stunning views of the Giralda, the tower of the Cathedral. We recommend to visit either early morning or during the evening so you can avoid the rush time of tourists and can enjoy the silence of the empty streets. You can access Barrio Santa Cruz either through the independence plaza or Murillo gardens.
ADOBO AT BLANCO CERRILLO
Adobo is one of the most famous tapas in Seville, and it consists in cazon (fish of the shark family) marinated with vinegar, cumin and garlic. You will find many restaurants at Seville with adobo, but none as good as Blanco Cerrillo. The smell that comes off this bar and impregnate Tetuan street will force you to make a visit and taste the food! Inside you will find a traditional restuarnat decorated with tiles with pictures of flamenco and matadors celebrities. Try also the anchovies with vinegar with a cold beer. It´s the heaven!
